After living in the Downingtown area, my husband and I decided to move into a lifecare community in Delaware County. Shortly thereafter, my husband became ill and required a variety of medical services.
Riddle Memorial Hospital became a constant in my life. I was extremely pleased with the quality and compassion of the care my husband received when he was ill. I also feel very reassured by the hospital's presence should I need help. It was natural for me to want to help Riddle, to say thank you for being there when I needed you.
After talking with the Development staff and my own advisor, a Charitable Gift Annuity seemed perfect for my situation. The annuity pays me increased income for the rest of my life and leaves the remainder to Riddle Memorial Hospital. In this way I can show my appreciation to the hospital and also have a secure supplemental retirement income.
